One Windows 2003 cannot access network shares in another

I have a virtual Windows 2003 server hosted (by Virtual Server 2005 R2) in a physical one. The physical host OS can access the administrative shares of the virtual OS, but the virtual OS is unable to

\\<machine>\d$ is not accessible. You might not have permission to use this network resource. Contact the administrator of this server to find out if you have access permissions.

Multiple connections to a server or shared resource by the same user, using more than one user name, are not allowed. Disconnect all pervious connections to the server or shared resource and try again.

The thing is, all my other computers can access that physical server's shares just fine. This include other virtual machines hosted under the same Virtual Server. I would like to know what areas I should be looking at to find out the cause of this error? Thanks.
