Windows Vista Server "2007" Beta 1 Released

This forum is for the Windows Vista Server which will be released by Microsoft in 2007. Beta 1 of Windows Vista Server has been released and can be downloaded at http://msdn.microsoft.com/ with a valid MSDN Universal Subscription.

Is the server edition of Longhorn to be called "Vista" as well? I read that is the name for just the client OS.

I peeked through MSDN Subscriptions and did download the Vista beta DVD, but the server copy is no where in sight?

As of right now, that will be called Windows "Vista" Server. Later, it will probably be named Windows Server 2007.

It neither exists in the Operating Systems or Servers sections.

Hmmm. It was out there. I guess they must have pulled it back. [;)]
