I am experiencing difficulty copying files off a particular server, resulting in my laptop system (just WE, but that is big enough to deal a crippling blow to the OS) hanging while "waiting".

Has anybody else encountered these and what are some ways to troubleshoot and avoid. thanks

UPDATE: as updated on same link above, hotfix KB931770 fixes the problem with Windows Vista.
