Microsoft Word was found to have a vulnerability by allowing remote execution of code. Although a patch is on the horizon, Microsoft is recommending that you run Microsoft Word in safe mode and disable Outlook from using Microsoft Word as the email editor. Yesterday, Microsoft announced two new critical updates. One of these updates was for Exchange 2000 and 2003 including machines with the latest service packs. These should be updated imediately. The other update is for machines with Adobe's Macromedia Flash Player.
